Overview In this role you will advance analytical methods and support laboratory operations at Catalent's Kansas City site. You will develop, validate, and transfer methods while ensuring compliance and high-quality documentation. You'll lead technical activities and collaborate with a skilled team to meet customer milestones and site standards. Responsibilities- Develop and execute lab work plans aligned with customer milestones and site standards
- Handle diverse sample types using HPLC, UV/Vis, Disintegration, and Dissolution with multiple apparatus types
- Perform method development, validation, and transfer activities
- Author and review technical documents (protocols, test methods, COAs, SOPs) for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Direct technical staff and assign tasks; act as Technical Lead on projects with customer interaction
- Drive efficiency improvement projects with guidance
- Identify and propose business opportunities on a per-project basis
- Train others on laboratory techniques
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a life science or physical science with 6+ years of related experience
- Ability to proactively address work issues at individual and team levels
- Strong data processing, maintenance, and interpretation skills
- Understanding of instrument operations and troubleshooting in multiple techniques
- Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external customers
