Overview As an Avionics System Design Engineer, you will contribute to the TCP Avionics team by shaping avionics packages for target vehicles and related equipment. You will collaborate cross-functionally to design, review, and integrate electrical architectures for flight systems, guiding component selection and trade studies. You will lead analyses and design reviews, support system-level testing, and troubleshoot issues to ensure mission-ready avionics. This role offers impact on strategic deterrence programs and exposure to world-class hardware engineering.

Responsibilities- Collaborate on cross-functional development and integration of avionics systems
- Develop and review electrical system architecture for flight vehicles
- Provide leadership and oversight of flight system electrical/electronics designs
- Lead avionics component selection and trade studies
- Lead reviews and analyses for existing and new designs
- Support system-level testing and troubleshoot test anomalies
Key requirements- Experience with selection of electronics/avionics components
- Significant experience in hardware troubleshooting
- BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of professional experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance; US Citizen
- Experience in electronics/avionics system design for tactical or flight applications
- Experience working with avionics suppliers on design and troubleshooting
- Ability to prepare and present technical review and troubleshooting data to leadership and customer
