Overview As a Mechanical Engineer on Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile Fire Control programs, you will contribute to designing, testing, and installing fire control equipment, with a focus on cable plant engineering. You'll join a cross-functional team delivering mission-critical hardware and wiring solutions for military applications. The role blends hands-on design, fabrication support, and collaboration across manufacturing and field engineering to meet program milestones. You will work with advanced CAD tools and apply standards to drive robust, manufacturable solutions.

Responsibilities- Assist in gathering wire and cable construction and routing requirements for programs
- Define processes for design tools and cabling design best practices
- Define material and deliverables for the cable plant on a program
- Collaborate within a team and potentially lead a small group to meet milestones
- Prepare design review material for internal and customer presentations
- Support Manufacturing during build cycles and Field Engineering during installation
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3 years of experience
- Security clearance: Secret (U.S. citizenship required)
