Overview In this role, you apply broad engineering knowledge to complex mechanical design projects within Olsson's Facilities Engineering and Design Team, driving high-quality solutions for diverse facilities. You will lead design efforts, mentor staff, and coordinate across teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget while delivering tangible value to communities. This position offers exposure to large-scale projects and cross-functional collaboration with project managers and clients. You will contribute to innovative engineering practices and have a meaningful impact on project outcomes and client partnerships.

Responsibilities- Perform detailed engineering tasks including design, cost estimates, and calculations
- Prepare project documents aligned with scope, schedule, and budget
- Independently tackle complex assignments and develop new techniques
- Coordinate across Olsson teams and direct design work to align with goals
- Collaborate with project managers on executing design work and reporting progress
- Assist with scope of work and schedule; may attend client meetings
- Supervise and mentor less experienced staff
- Maintain project and client information in the project management system
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer with at least six years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong understanding of International Building Codes
