Overview In this role you will support Air Force program offices by delivering data-driven cost analyses to inform multi-billion dollar defense decisions. You will work across lifecycle cost efforts for IT and weapon system acquisitions, informing senior leadership with expert guidance. You'll collaborate with program managers, engineers, contracting officers, and budget analysts to apply best practices in cost estimation. This role offers impact through shaping program affordability and financial strategy within national defense.

Responsibilities- Develop cost analysis products (LCCEs, EAs, BCAs, AoAs, ROMs/What-if analyses)
- Collaborate with Air Force program offices, engineering leads, contracting officers, and budget analysts
- Provide expert cost advice to senior government leadership
- Apply industry best practices and thought leadership in cost estimating
- Support lifecycle cost management for IT and/or weapon system acquisitions
Key requirements- ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's degree + 4 years of professional experience in lieu of Bachelor's
- 3 years of experience including 2 years in cost estimation, data analytics, statistical analysis, or Excel
- Experience with Air Force Program Office or other DoD programs
