Overview As Community Manager, you lead daily operations of an Active Adult community to deliver excellent resident experiences, strong financial performance, and regulatory compliance. You will supervise onsite teams, coordinate resources, and foster an inclusive environment for residents aged 55+. You act as the main link between ownership, residents, and operations, driving performance and long-term community success. This role emphasizes compliance, team leadership, and revenue optimization in a mission-driven property business.

Responsibilities- Address resident concerns promptly and resolve issues with empathy
- Manage financial, administrative, operational, and reporting tasks with accuracy
- Liaise with ownership, investors, and regional/asset management; present performance updates
- Hire, onboard, train, and develop team members; ensure required trainings are current
- Oversee lease enforcement, inspections, notices, evictions, and fee collection
- Direct sales/leasing activities to meet occupancy and revenue targets
- Set and monitor rent, fees, and financial reporting; manage deposits and accounts payable/receivable
- Develop NOI growth strategies through rent optimization, ancillary income, and expense control
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, curb appeal, and preventive maintenance; supervise vendor contracts
- Monitor resident satisfaction, respond to feedback, and manage reputation
- Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting to ownership
- Oversee capital expenditures, projects, and unit upgrades
Key requirements- 4-6 years of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and licenses/certifications as required by state/local jurisdiction
- Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite) and MS Office
