Overview

As Financial Analyst Sr, you will lead program finance activities from proposal to closeout, delivering analytics and insights to guide decisions. You'll drive earned value management and financial planning for a critical defense portfolio, partnering with cross functional teams to implement new financial systems. Your work informs growth strategy and ensures compliant, data driven decision making. This role offers hands-on impact across forecasting, performance reporting, and stakeholder support. You'll join a fast paced, collaborative environment with a focus on process improvement and tangible results.

Responsibilities
  • Lead components of program financial performance from proposal through closeout
  • Execute Earned Value Management and provide program level financial analytics
  • Develop financial forecasts and long range plans to guide decision making
  • Produce regular forecasts of orders, sales, profit, and cash for budgeting and planning
  • Collaborate with program and finance personnel to align processes and support system implementations
  • Consolidate data from multiple financial systems for actionable recommendations
  • Provide management with forward looking analytics, trend insights, and performance reporting
  • Support compliance with FAR, CAS, SEC, and US GAAP; assist in proposal development and negotiations
Key requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent
  • Experience conducting financial analysis
  • Experience establishing/managing program cost baselines
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Self starter with ability to work independently and drive solutions
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Team oriented with a mindset of continuous improvement/change
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills
  • Collaborative and adaptable in a fast paced environment
  • Structured problem solver with attention to detail
  • Tableau proficiency
  • Experience with Cobra, Oracle, SAP S4
  • Working knowledge of FP&A (LRP, CSR, Orders/Sales/EBIT/Cash)
