Overview In this Senior BI Analyst role, you will lead analytics delivery for GARS, driving data-driven decision making across a complex commercial portfolio. You'll own core reporting domains, advance modern BI practices, and scale analytics capabilities with a focus on SQL-based work in Snowflake. You'll partner with stakeholders and IT to ensure accurate, governed insights that inform strategic actions. Responsibilities- Analyze large, diverse data to support strategic initiatives
- Ensure data integrity through validation and quality checks
- Frame questions with stakeholders and translate needs into reporting solutions
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to management
- Align business logic and reporting with enterprise data models
- Leverage AI-assisted analytics to improve speed and quality while maintaining governance
- Design and maintain semantic models and metric definitions for trusted reporting
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency in data collection and reporting
- Maintain documentation for data processes and governance
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to analysts
- Stay current with analytics best practices and trends
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree required
- Seven+ years in analytics or BI
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools (Tableau preferred)
- Python or similar scripting language for analytics
- Snowflake or cloud-based analytics experience preferred
- Knowledge of ETL processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to partner with stakeholders to frame problems and influence decisions
- Interest in learning new tools and practices
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus
