Overview In this role you will lead the technical day-to-day design for Telecommunications, Security and A/V across building projects within the Stantec Buildings Mountain Engineering team. You'll coordinate schematic design and construction documents, while advancing BIM/Revit models and site surveys. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support multiple projects, and engage on client sites with strong time management. This is an applied role for delivering integrated technology systems in mission-critical or complex facilities.

Responsibilities- Coordinate schematic design and construction documents with a focus on Telecom, Security and A/V requirements
- Develop and maintain BIM models and use Revit; advance design software proficiency
- Perform site condition surveys and review contract submittals
- Support multiple design teams and projects to deliver results on time
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage on client sites
- Meet client badge/background check requirements and work on-site as needed
- Produce quality, innovative technology-enabled building designs
Key requirements- BICSI, RCDD, Avixa CTS or CTS-D, ASIS PSP certifications
- Fundamental understanding of ISP and OSP telecommunications design
- Strong experience in design coordination and contract document development
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-office technology systems group
- Experience designing and implementing industrial communication networks (Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus)
- Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering; 10+ years in Technology Systems design/installation (telecom, security, A/V) preferred
