Overview

In this role, you will lead software engineering initiatives within PwC's Software and Product Innovation group to deliver reliable, scalable tech solutions that support operational excellence. You will mentor teams, manage end-to-end project delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to align with client needs and engagement objectives. You'll drive innovation through modern development practices and AI-enabled technologies, shaping software that transforms industries. This position offers a dynamic environment to grow leadership and technical expertise while upholding PwC standards and integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Lead software engineering projects from planning to delivery in line with business requirements and engagement team goals
  • Oversee full project lifecycle and develop detailed plans to drive outcomes
  • Guide teams through complex technical challenges while ensuring alignment with client needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features and identify technology-enabled improvements
  • Oversee development and integration of enterprise apps using Appian, Mendix, and OutSystems
  • Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, .NET, and C# to build scalable software, including microservices
  • Apply ATDD, CI/CD, and modern development frameworks to improve quality and speed
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and troubleshoot performance issues
  • Coach and mentor junior staff and promote adoption of innovative technologies
  • Support engagement team management by incorporating feedback and driving continuous improvement
  • Leverage AI knowledge and emerging technologies to enhance delivery
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 12+ years in engineering program management
  • Proficiency in ATDD and CI/CD
  • Experience in API management and microservices architecture
  • Project management maturity with PMP, CSM, and PRINCE2 credentials (preferred)
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA) and data-driven decision making
  • Knowledge of AI technologies (OpenAI, Claude Code) and enterprise IT systems
