Overview As an Economic Assessment Specialist you will deliver lender-ready independent engineering advisory services for DOE EDF projects. You'll assess project economics, risks, and viability, translating engineering findings into due diligence outputs. You work with cross-functional teams to support credit, monitoring, and certification decisions. This role offers impact by shaping financings for large-scale energy infrastructure and DOE programs.

Responsibilities- Provide independent engineering advisory support for EDF program due diligence, credit evaluation, lifecycle monitoring, and assurance activities.
- Review project docs, evaluate technical and commercial interfaces, identify risks and mitigations, validate assumptions, and support conditions precedent and disbursement readiness.
- Prepare defensible outputs including economic models, scenario analyses, cost curves, and economic summaries.
- Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, construction, operations, environmental, HSE, and project controls teams for timely lender/DOE decisions.
Key requirements- 10+ years of relevant engineering, construction, operations, compliance, risk, finance, or energy infrastructure advisory experience
- Experience on oil & gas, power, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects for owners, lenders, or federal clients
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA, CFA, PMP, CPA, or project finance credentials preferred
