Overview In this role you will provide strategic legal guidance to Lennox's parts and supplies business unit and broader company functions. You will draft and negotiate contracts, manage regulatory risk, and support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You'll help identify legal risks in agreements and foster strong working relationships with the business to enable compliant, efficient operations. Responsibilities- Provide legal advice to the parts and supplies business unit and other functions, including environmental and labor/employment matters
- Draft and review contracts (distribution, supply, master services, staffing, etc.) and other legal documents
- Negotiate contract terms with customers, vendors, and third parties
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws/regulations and mitigate legal risks in contracts
- Resolve contract-related disputes and conduct legal research to support negotiations
- Build strong relationships with business units to enable productive collaboration
Key requirements- Over 5 years of experience in corporate law, commercial/procurement contracts, or similar
- Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized institution
- Experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on various contracts
- Independent and collaborative work style with ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with focus on compliance and risk mitigation
