Overview In this 15-week Engineering Co-op, you will support site Engineering Managers on daily tasks and special projects to advance department goals. You'll gain hands-on exposure to equipment analysis, facility revisions, and process improvements while contributing to impactful engineering initiatives at the Garland, TX site. This program blends hands-on work with learning opportunities and a final presentation to leadership. Responsibilities- Analyze equipment and processes within the plant
- Assist with new installations and facility revisions
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment layout
- Investigate new plant engineering processes and techniques
- Contribute to special projects identified by the Engineering Team
- Deliver final presentation to site, program, and division leadership
Key requirements- Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university during the Co-op
- Must be pursuing an Engineering Degree with sophomore standing or higher
- team-oriented
- leadership experience or ability to supervise/lead teams
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- experience with drawings/specifications development
- experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain is a plus
