Overview In this role you will support mechanical design across diverse market sectors, with a focus on industrial projects such as semiconductor manufacturing and data centers. You will collaborate in a cross-disciplinary team with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver robust HVAC and mechanical systems. You will perform loads, piping and duct sizing, and CFD analyses while contributing to drawings, specifications, and site work. You will engage in code reviews and project meetings to drive compliant, high quality design.

Responsibilities- Mechanical system design for pumps, coils, heat exchangers, and fans
- Heating/cooling load calculations
- HVAC equipment selection
- Piping and ductwork sizing for air and water systems
- Ventilation and pipe stress calculations
- CFD analysis and related calculations
- Use of tools such as IES, Pipe-Flo, Rhor2, 6SigmaRoom (prior knowledge a plus)
- Create drawings and specifications; participate in site walks, code analysis, and project meetings
Key requirements- 6+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience in an engineering consulting firm or similar
- Professional Engineering license required
- Experience with mechanical design and calculations
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
