Overview As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will develop and apply measurement methods to ensure products meet quality, regulatory, and customer standards. You'll work closely with machining and production to resolve issues, contribute to continuous improvement, and mentor others in measurement techniques. Your work will support data-driven decisions, calibration management, and quality compliance across programs. Responsibilities- Develop measurement equipment programs to ensure compliance
- Record and analyze measurement data and maintain inspection reports
- Collaborate with Machining and Production teams to resolve issues
- Ensure products meet quality standards and report non-conformances
- Verify procedures meet compliance requirements
- Initiate process improvements and help establish quality policies
- Train and mentor Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineers
- Serve as SME for measurement interpretation and analysis
- Suggest improvements to reduce costs and raise quality
- Manage calibration/validation of measurement equipment
- Organize and maintain QA measurement data and reports
- Provide measurement data to Material Review Boards for decisions
- Support Gauge R&R studies and RCA with EVA documentation
- Model a culture of compliance by following regulations and maintaining tools/equipment cleanliness
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science Degree (STEM emphasis) with minimum 5 years programming advanced measurement devices (CMM)
- or Associate's Degree of Science (STEM emphasis) with minimum 10 years programming advanced measurement devices (CMM)
