Overview In this role you lead aquatic design from concept to completion, shaping projects across municipal pools, natatoriums, and water parks. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and drive new business opportunities. The position blends design leadership with QA/QC oversight to ensure alignment with owner visions and project goals. You'll work within CHA's Sports Team to deliver sustainable, community-focused aquatic solutions and enjoy growth opportunities in a collaborative culture. Responsibilities- Lead aquatic design efforts from concept through completion and cultivate client relationships
- Oversee production of contract/construction drawings using REVIT, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
- Provide guidance to junior designers to ensure quality and consistency
- Review complex contract documents for accuracy and alignment with program and Owner's vision
- Support development of technical reports, cost estimates, and production schedules
- Participate in QA/QC review meetings and coordinate client deliverables
- Lead and assist in proposal preparation for potential projects
- Identify and develop new business leads through research, networking, and outreach
- Support business development visits to build relationships and explore opportunities
Key requirements- Associate's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 12 years of experience in document production, client development, problem solving and QA/QC in aquatic engineering
- Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication and collaborative work ethic
- Expert knowledge of aquatic engineering with strong design drawing layout
