Overview In this Senior Architect role, you will lead architectural design and technical delivery across multiple Irish public sector and large-scale projects. You'll manage projects from planning through construction and coordinate with engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities- Lead architectural design and technical delivery across multiple projects
- Manage projects from planning and design through to construction completion
- Oversee compliance with Department of Education requirements, TGDs, and public sector guidelines
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and specialist disciplines
- Ensure full compliance with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, fire safety, accessibility, and planning conditions
- Review and sign off drawing packages and technical submissions
- Lead quality assurance processes and document control
- Manage RFIs, site queries, and contractor coordination
- Mentor architectural technologists and junior architects
- Drive sustainability initiatives including NZEB, retrofit, and low-carbon design strategies
Key requirements- 7+ years' post-registration experience
- Registered Architect (RIAI or eligible)
- Strong Revit proficiency
- Proven experience delivering Irish public sector or large-scale commercial projects
- Strong understanding of BCAR and Assigned Certifier processes
- Excellent client-facing and coordination skills
- Ability to lead teams and manage project timelines
