Overview In this role, you drive the development of scalable data infrastructure and analytics for NAMs and translational safety. You collaborate across discovery biology, nonclinical safety, and AI/ML teams to create connected data ecosystems that accelerate decision-making. You design visualizations and pipelines to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and visualization solutions supporting NAMs initiatives and TSRS workflows
- Develop and implement databases and registries using Databricks
- Collaborate with scientific, data engineering, IT, and AI/ML teams to harmonize data structures across nonclinical and clinical safety domains
- Define metadata standards and ontology mappings for model systems, assays, samples, readouts, validation status, and context of use
- Support data governance, data quality, and reproducibility across TSRS platforms
- Conceptualize, design, and build interactive dashboards and visualizations (Spotfire) to enable AI-supported data-driven decision-making
- Translate complex scientific concepts into clear visualizations and actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
- Develop pipelines and workflows to integrate NAMs data with enterprise datasets (clinical data) via AI/ML
- Apply AI/ML approaches to support translational safety analyses, predictive modeling, and NAMs applications
Key requirements- PhD, MD, PharmD, or relevant Master's with 3+ years or Bachelor's with 5+ years in Scientific/Data Science
- Experience building data infrastructure and analytics in Databricks
- Relational databases, data engineering workflows, and cloud-based analytics
- Strong Spotfire dashboard development and data visualization
- Experience integrating data across platforms (Benchling, SharePoint, Databricks, Spotfire, LIMS/ELN)
- Understanding of NAMs, in vitro models, translational platforms, toxicology, translational safety
- Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced scientific environment
