Responsibilities- Achieve sales goals and manage the sales budget
- Establish senior-level relationships within assigned accounts
- Drive profitable sales and protect base business through understanding decision-makers
- Identify innovative strategic solutions for the commercial team
- Provide accurate forecasting to senior leadership
- Collaborate across APOC US Commercial functions to meet goals
- Plan and coordinate activities of the broader commercial team (sales, marketing, finance)
- Identify sales opportunities and effectively represent Abbott and its products
- Lead role assignments and timelines with leadership
- Advocate for customers by leveraging internal resources to meet objectives
- Support strategic sales plans, including territory and regional forecasting
- Monitor market, customer, and competitor trends to advise on competitiveness
- Work with APOC US Marketing to identify opportunities and develop plans
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- 7+ years of sales or related experience selling to executive decision-makers in healthcare, diagnostics, or medical devices
- Proven success in strategic account management, value-based solution selling, and contract negotiations
- Ability to build and influence senior-level relationships and lead cross-functional teams
- Strong business and financial acumen with negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Documented track record of sales success
- Willingness to travel up to 60% within assigned territory
- Preferred: 3+ years in Enterprise Account and IDN sales, MBA
