Overview

In this role, you will evaluate and design membrane gas applications, with a focus on the rapidly growing biogas upgrading market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support inquiries, troubleshoot systems, and develop design tools and new offerings. You bring process engineering experience (membrane design preferred) and field exposure to gas processing to support customers and drive product improvements. The role includes hands-on project work, customer interactions at sites, and opportunities to influence product development and strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Run Aspen heat and material balance simulations for new and existing customers to optimize membrane use
  • Evaluate new application inquiries for membrane product fit
  • Join or lead R&D programs for new applications and products
  • Support P&ID development, Operability Reviews and Hazard Reviews
  • Troubleshoot product performance issues for customers
  • Train customers on safe installation and operation of membranes
  • Provide on-site service support to customers with membrane systems
  • Investigate product failures and assess warranty claims
  • Serve as a technical resource to the business and product development teams
  • Conduct performance tests on product improvements and update specifications
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of Process Engineering experience
  • Membrane systems and/or gases processing experience preferred but not required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for customer care with limited membrane experience
  • Initiative and ability to work independently while traveling to customer sites
  • Creative mindset and willingness to explore novel solutions
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally ( 10% travel)
