Overview As Staff Product Manager, you will be the senior product voice guiding Kodiak's Level 4 autonomous trucking platform across customer applications. You'll own end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and deployment, aligning engineering, operations, and commercial teams around a shared vision. You'll shape how we scale commercialization, drive customer partnerships, and influence executive decisions. This role challenges you to balance technical feasibility with market needs and to lead with impact across the organization.

Responsibilities- Define multi-year product roadmaps grounded in customer needs and commercialization goals
- Unify Engineering, Program Management, Operations, and Commercial around a shared vision
- Own end-to-end product lifecycle from opportunity through deployment and iteration
- Set prioritization frameworks and influence engineering resource allocation
- Author rigorous product requirements in collaboration with Design and Engineering leadership
- Define product readiness metrics and communicate health to customers, leadership, and the board
- Manage senior customer relationships and translate real-world complexity into product direction
- Mentor senior PMs and influence PM practices across Kodiak
- Travel 10-20% to deployments and customer sites
Key requirements- 10+ years of Product Management experience with senior IC experience in complex, technical domains
- Proven organizational influence at VP level and above; able to change program direction through judgment and communication
- Technical fluency to engage with engineering on architecture and feasibility tradeoffs
- Background in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Experience handling ambiguity in novel problem spaces with high stakes
- Customer-facing and commercial acumen connecting product decisions to outcomes
- Cross-functional leadership without formal authority; driving alignment and accountability
