Overview In this role you will own end-to-end models that help customers understand and optimize their AWS spend. You will work at the intersection of data science and engineering to tackle cost anomaly detection, forecasting, and rightsizing across multiple services, contributing to intelligent cloud financial management. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate problems into measurable experiments and production-ready solutions. You will shape models that scale and provide trustworthy insights, with a strong focus on accuracy and practical impact.

Responsibilities- Formulate problems and design end-to-end modeling solutions
- Experiment and validate models through rigorous testing
- Deploy models to production and define evaluation metrics
- Enhance and build new models for cost anomaly detection, forecasting, and rightsizing
- Collaborate with applied scientists, software engineers, and product teams
- Translate business problems into measurable ML experiments and outcomes
Key requirements- 3+ years of experience building models for business applications
- PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS/CE/ML or related field
- Experience with patents or publications at top-tier venues
- Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python
