Overview In this role you will lead SME guidance on airport facility design, construction, and maintenance for Amazon Air. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across Design & Construction, GES, Asset Management, RME, Real Estate, and Airport Affairs to develop long-range master plans and oversee on-airport projects. The position combines regulatory insight with hands-on project leadership to maintain and evolve Amazon's airport infrastructure. You will travel about a quarter of the time and be a key voice for airport-related decisions at senior levels. This is a chance to shape the growth of a complex, fast-moving aviation network.

Responsibilities- Build deep partnerships with NA execution teams across Design & Construction, GES, Asset Management, RME, Airport Affairs, and ground operations
- Provide SME guidance on regulatory and technical matters for on-airfield project management, design, and construction
- Lead development of long-range site master plans for NA Hub and Regional Air Hub sites
- Create and implement standard facility management procedures for Amazon-controlled and 3P-operated airport facilities
- Engage with airports, landlords, and subtenants on construction and facility matters as needed
- Facilitate transitions during cargo facility operator changes and asset onboarding/offboarding
- Prepare and present airport construction and facility modification updates to senior AIR leadership, including cost, entitlements, permitting, and project health
- Travel 25% of the time
Key requirements- Experience presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level
- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in real-estate development, construction, architecture, or facility management
- 3+ years in on-airport development, construction, design, or facility management
- Strong knowledge of airport regulatory environment and best practices in airport development/construction
- Ability to understand and communicate construction, design, building mechanical, and airport technical requirements
