Overview In this role you will drive quality and reliability across production and release processes for Zoox's vehicle programs. You will collaborate with Corporate Quality, Field Quality, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and fleet ops to ensure products meet design specs and customer expectations. You'll lead containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for production non-conformances, and champion continuous improvement. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that shapes product quality through data-driven problem solving and robust risk mitigation.

Responsibilities- Manage quality issue tracking to implement Containment, drive RCA and CAPA for non-conformances identified during production quality audits and vehicle release process
- Support NVH issue diagnosis from Rider Quality Audit and EFR process; establish standard NVH inspection process and define required tools
- Design, champion, and execute strategic continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality audits, EFR, and issue resolution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing and Vehicle Development to resolve systemic product and process issues
- Support development and review of PFMEA and Control Plans to ensure robust risk mitigation for critical manufacturing processes
- Communicate technical results clearly and drive issues to closure
Key requirements- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience (automotive, aviation, or contract manufacturing preferred)
- Proven expertise in advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Shainin Red X, Six Sigma Black/Green Belt) and success driving systemic quality improvements across the value stream
