Overview As a Mechanical Engineer for Mission Critical Projects, you design and coordinate advanced mechanical systems for data centers and other critical facilities. You collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver reliable HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection solutions, using Revit for documentation and performing code-driven calculations. You lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure projects meet performance and sustainability goals. Responsibilities- Design, coordinate, and implement mechanical systems for data centers and other critical facilities
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients within an integrated design process
- Create and coordinate documents using Revit (Autodesk Revit MEP)
- Perform HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection calculations with code research
- Write and review specifications; review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals
- Conduct site visits as needed
- Manage mechanical and interdisciplinary project teams
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 10+ years in an MEP or integrated design firm on commercial/public projects (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection)
- 5+ years of design experience related to data centers
- Proven experience designing HVAC, plumbing and fire protection on complex projects
- Understanding of design and construction processes and ability to communicate across disciplines
- Experience with BIM workflows (Autodesk Revit MEP)
