Overview As a Senior QA Engineer in APS, you will lead quality across manufacturing and processes for semiconductor-grade gas purification products. You'll work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and operations to drive containment, CAPA, and continuous improvement. This high-visibility role focuses on risk-based decision making, product quality, and process robustness. You'll influence quality culture and own improvements that reduce defects and variation in production. This is a hands-on, autonomous position with a strategic impact on product quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing, process, and product quality issues using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone)
- Coordinate plant quality escalation efforts and drive timely containment and corrective actions
- Own CAPA activities including root cause verification, action implementation, effectiveness checks, and closure
- Manage nonconformance, MRB, defect tracking, and quality risk visibility across the plant
- Develop and maintain quality dashboards, scorecards, and reporting on yield, scrap, rework, defect trends, and process capability
- Analyze quality data and manufacturing trends to identify systemic issues and prioritize improvements
- Act as MRB representative for material disposition and risk assessment
- Support process and product quality improvements, NPI readiness, and process change management
- Provide guidance on measurement systems, SPC, MSA, and risk-based quality controls
- Support internal/external audits and quality management system requirements
- Coach engineers and teams in quality principles and structured problem solving
- Demonstrate Entegris PACE values and quality culture; travel as needed to support training and benchmarking
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- 4-6 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality in a manufacturing environment
- Proven root cause investigation and CAPA execution experience
- Strong with quality tools (FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, CAPA, Lean, Six Sigma, ISO-based systems)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, process controls, and QMS
- Experience with nonconformance management, MRB, defect reduction, and process improvement
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP (SAP preferred); data visualization with Power BI
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
