Overview

As the Principal Commercial Analytics & BI Lead at Conterra Networks, you own the analytics and performance measurement framework for the commercial organization. You will design dashboards, govern KPIs, and deliver insights that inform executive decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Finance. You translate complex data into actionable recommendations to identify growth opportunities and improve forecasting, win rates, and operational performance. This high-visibility role shapes data-informed decisions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain executive dashboards and reporting via Power BI, Salesforce, and other BI tools
  • Build scalable reporting frameworks covering sales performance, pipeline health, retention, and commercial effectiveness
  • Establish reporting standards, documentation, and self-service analytics practices
  • Ensure data accuracy and trust across reporting environments
  • Own KPI definitions, governance, and data dictionaries; resolve data quality issues
  • Provide insights on sales, pipeline, market, and campaign data; support forecasting and performance diagnostics
  • Develop performance scorecards and executive reporting packages
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Finance to drive strategic initiatives and present concise recommendations
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years in Commercial Analytics, Revenue/Sales Operations, BI, or related analytics
  • Advanced Power BI experience
  • Strong Salesforce reporting and analytics experience
  • Advanced Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables, data modeling
  • Experience analyzing sales performance, forecasting, pipeline metrics, conversion trends, customer retention, revenue drivers
  • Strong data validation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to senior leaders
