Overview As a Forward Deployed Scientific & Informatics Consultant, you will drive digital laboratory transformations and AI-enabled solutions for scientific teams. You'll work across lab data, systems and processes to deliver measurable improvements in R&D and manufacturing efficiency. You'll collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and scale technology that enhances scientific data capture, analysis, and compliance. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented role at the intersection of science, informatics, and consulting.

Responsibilities- Elicit, demonstrate, develop, and scale AI-enabled solutions for laboratory scientists
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and working sessions to clarify needs
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for custom and off-the-shelf solutions
- Create and maintain project documentation (requirements, use cases, user stories, designs)
- Manage projects using waterfall and agile methodologies
- Support design and implementation respecting GxP and non-GxP regulatory standards
- Design, create, and migrate scientific master data and transactional data
- Train end-users and provide ongoing support for new systems and processes
- Prepare SDLC artifacts (process maps, workflows, specs, test scripts)
- Provide point-of-view on lab informatics solutions and assess technology strengths/weaknesses
- Advise on data and system architectures for industry solutions in the laboratory
- Oversee and implement digital solutions like Agentic Lab Capabilities, LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS, IoT, and cloud
- Travel up to 50% to client locations
Key requirements- Minimum 3 years in scientific and laboratory informatics in R&D and/or QC manufacturing
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Preferred: 2+ years in consulting and experience with life sciences R&D, QC, or IT
- Experience with laboratory solutions: Benchling, Revvity Signals, Waters CDS/SDMS, Dotmatics, LabVantage, LabWare, SampleManager, Scitara, TetraScience
