Overview As Associate Product Marketing Manager at Starburst, you will translate complex data/AI capabilities into clear customer value and drive new product launches. You'll work with product, engineering, and GTM teams to shape messaging, enable the field, and connect product investments to adoption and revenue. This hands-on role focuses on delivering credible, customer-friendly narratives for technical and business buyers. You'll help establish scalable PMM processes while leveraging AI to accelerate research and execution.

Responsibilities- Develop clear messaging and positioning based on customer problems and Starburst value
- Translate data/AI infrastructure into simple stories for diverse buyers
- Partner with Product Managers to infuse market understanding into roadmap, launches, and GTM
- Own product launches from strategy to execution including assets, readiness, distribution, and follow-up
- Create customer evaluation materials: architectures, demos, competitive guidance, POC support, docs, analyst materials
- Develop revenue plays linking customer pain to Starburst capabilities and enable the field
- Create seller enablement for AEs, SDRs, and Solution Architects with playbooks and materials
- Gather customer, buyer, competitive, and field intelligence through conversations and win/loss analyses
- Measure impact via adoption, launch engagement, pipeline, revenue performance, and field evidence
- Help establish operating system for PMM function with reusable messaging, processes, templates, cadence
- Use AI to accelerate research and execution with accountable shipping
Key requirements- Approx. 3-5 years in product marketing, product, data or business analysis, GTM, or related roles
- Ability to explain technical product value in concise language
- Strong writing, synthesis, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Bias toward execution and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Commercial judgment linking product investments to adoption and revenue
- Curiosity and technical aptitude in data platforms, analytics, AI infrastructure, and competitive landscape
- Strong cross-functional relationship skills with PMs, engineers, marketers, executives, sellers, and customers
- Willingness to seek customer and field evidence beyond internal assumptions
