Material Planner

As Material Planner at Baker Hughes, you translate demand plans into physical orders and align material flow with global operations. You collaborate with Sales, Operations, AMO, and regional teams to optimize inventory while meeting customer requirements. You leverage data-driven insights to improve asset utilization and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Convert demand plans from sales, operations, and engineering into physical orders
• Analyze incoming demand to identify misalignments with stocking strategies andInventory opportunities
• Plan and schedule order timelines to balance customer needs with inventory and transport costs
• Prioritize delivery dates with Service Delivery (push outs/pull ins)
• Perform material management analyses (consumption forecasts, aged inventory, POs, in-transit material)
• Create materials delivery tickets in SAP and coordinate with warehouse/logistics
• Monitor safety stock, aging inventory, and regional manufacturing inputs to meet HQ targets
• Collaborate with AMO to capture spare parts and asset demands
• Execute continuous improvement projects to maximize value

• 2+ years of experience in order management, inventory optimization, and asset utilization
• Knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively in English
• Strategic thinking with tactical execution and sense of urgency
• APICS Certification (preferred, not required)
