Overview In this role you will represent clients in California defense litigation, focusing on general liability and insurance defense matters. You will work within a growing organization, with options for hybrid work or in-office locations across CA. You will handle drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositions while communicating updates to clients and insurers. Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Draft pleadings, written discovery, motions and other litigation documents
- Take and defend depositions
- Report to clients and/or insurance carriers on case developments
- Manage various facets of the litigation process
- Collaborate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate defense strategy
Key requirements- Current, active California law license
- Minimum 8 years of experience in general liability and/or insurance defense
- Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, motions; taking and defending depositions
- Ability to report to clients and/or insurance carriers and manage litigation workflow
