Overview In this field-based role, you will sell Optiv's security services and technology solutions to strategic Detroit-area accounts and lead a cross-functional team to build multi-year account plans. You drive executive relationships, align client goals with Optiv offerings, and coordinate resources to meet or exceed targets. You'll manage a robust pipeline and forecast with accuracy, applying Force Management methodologies to communicate value. This is a high-impact position for shaping security programs at top accounts and delivering measurable client outcomes.

Responsibilities- Build trusted executive-level relationships within assigned accounts
- Lead multi-year strategic account plans based on client goals and security trends
- Develop and manage a large, four-times-target pipeline and meet gross margin targets
- Coordinate cross-functional resources (solutions architecture, client operations, services) to support accounts
- Manage forecasts with high accuracy and cadence
- Communicate Optiv's security value proposition effectively
- Collaborate with technology partners and sales teams to generate qualified opportunities
- Facilitate clear, ongoing communication among clients, partners, and Optiv teams
- Ensure client satisfaction through proactive engagement and quarterly reviews
Key requirements- 3-5+ years in product or services-based tech sales, ideally cybersecurity
- Proven territory/account prospecting and quota attainment
- Experience coordinating cross-functional resources in sales cycles
- Ability to build relationships with executives and sponsors in accounts
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Negotiation experience
- Track record of exceeding plans and expectations
- Experience with MEDDICC and Command of the Message and related Force Management principles (as stated)
