Overview In this role you will act as legal entity controller, leading the monthly close and ensuring accurate financial reporting for a global, regulated firm. You will partner with cross functional teams to support SEC disclosures, standalone and consolidated entities, and regulatory capital analyses. You will work in a strong control environment, interacting with regulators and auditors to safeguard assets and uphold the firm's reputation. You'll shape financial processes and stay ahead of policy changes, with a meaningful impact on accuracy and transparency.
Responsibilities- Oversee monthly close for legal entities, monitor intercompany relations, and address ledger/sub-ledger discrepancies
- Prepare quarterly financial information for consolidation and SEC filing
- Support regulatory capital analysis with risk and treasury teams
- Ensure accurate regulatory reporting in public disclosures
- Collaborate with Product Controllers, Funding Controllers, Treasury, Tax, Regulatory, Market and Credit Risk on ad hoc requests
- Assist in standalone entity financials and disclosures under U.S. GAAP
- Perform and review ad hoc analyses of consolidating entities for internal/external reporting
Key requirements- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance
- CPA is desirable
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Teamwork oriented with ability to work independently
