Overview

In this role, you will own Mercury Marine's retail marketing and merchandising experience across national and regional partners. You will translate marketing strategy into consistent, scalable execution across in-store and digital touchpoints, collaborating with Sales, Creative, Brand, and retailers. You'll develop and govern visual identity standards, planograms, and promotional materials, driving ROI and cross-functional alignment. This role offers hands-on execution within a fast-paced team, with impact on brand consistency and retailer engagement. Responsibilities
  • DRI for retail visual identity and merchandising across retailer touchpoints
  • Develop and govern Mercury Marine's retail visual identity, standards, planograms, signage systems
  • Design, produce, rollout, and lifecycle manage POP, signage, graphics, and fixtures for scalability and efficiency
  • Own and optimize the retail planogram software platform (IWD Mockshop), including governance and deployment
  • Lead training and communication to drive adoption of retail standards and tools
  • Ensure brand/product content and merchandising standards are represented across retailer websites and digital touchpoints
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align national marketing initiatives with retailer strategies and in-store execution
  • Assist in executing national marketing programs to drive traffic and lead generation at retail
  • Vendor & Budget Management: oversee external vendors, manage budgets and schedules for retail programs
  • Define, track, and report KPIs/ROI for retail programs and use insights to improve impact
Key requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, or related field
  • Strong visual, creative, and merchandising skills
  • Proven ability to manage vendors, budgets, and complex projects
  • Strong communication skills and experience influencing stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel periodically to support retailers (10%)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Display & Presentation, or related field
