Overview

In this Strategic Planning role, you will lead a team responsible for New Business Funds investment planning, allocation, and portfolio performance across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Fort Worth. You will enable senior leadership with actionable, executive-level insights and drive alignment across Finance, Strategy, and Operations to deliver enterprise investment priorities. The role focuses on optimizing investment processes, reducing risks, and shaping strategic resource decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support transformation and business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead NBF allocation and execution for the Aeronautics SLT
  • Oversee year-to-year NBF portfolio performance, risks, and issue escalation
  • Develop portfolio insights that integrate NBF with other funding sources
  • Prepare executive-level investment portfolio reporting and messaging
  • Lead management of the Key Investment portfolio, including governance and risk escalation
  • Drive continuous improvement of NBF planning, allocation, and execution processes
  • Establish standard work to enable reliable execution and higher-value activities
  • Support adoption of the 1LMX OppHub tool for NBF requirements
  • Coach and develop a team of strategic planning and investment analysts
  • Foster cross-functional relationships and coordinate stakeholders for alignment
  • Represent Strategic Planning in cross-functional forums and enterprise initiatives
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience in strategy, finance, program management, or related discipline
  • Experience leading teams or cross-functional initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage heavy workloads with competing priorities
  • Experience developing executive presentations and communicating to senior leadership
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Proven ability to influence across organizational boundaries
  • Experience prioritizing, delegating, and driving work to closure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
