Overview In this role you will lead and coordinate capital project workstreams for complex public-sector initiatives. You'll report to the Senior Project Manager and guide design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities. You will liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to keep schedules, costs, and quality on track. Your work helps deliver essential public facilities and infrastructure, shaping how communities move and develop. Responsibilities- Manage project phases and work streams under the Senior Project Manager
- Support capital project delivery across planning, design, Design-Build procurement, construction, commissioning, occupancy, and closeout
- Coordinate activities of architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and Design-Build teams
- Monitor performance against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual requirements
- Track design submissions, RFIs, submittals, and other deliverables; maintain project controls (schedules, costs, risk registers)
- Identify issues and support corrective actions; assist with procurement and design-build processes
- Review design and construction documents for coordination and constructability; ensure alignment with requirements
- Conduct site visits to observe progress and resolve field issues; track punch-lists and deficiencies
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas, minutes, and status reports; facilitate coordination meetings
- Support change requests, cost proposals, and schedule impacts; assist with risk tracking and mitigation
- Support permitting, regulatory, utility coordination, commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities
- Maintain complete project documentation per records management requirements
- Ensure compliance with public-sector requirements, codes, and contractual obligations
- Provide regular status updates to the Senior Project Manager; escalate material issues as needed
Key requirements- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
- 6 years of relevant construction project management experience or equivalent
- Experience with Design-Build procurement and public-sector capital projects
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project management certifications (PMP, CCM, DBIA, EIT, PE or related) preferred
