Overview In this role you help design and develop test equipment and systems for Moog's space, defense, and commercial products. You will lead cross functional efforts to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets while ensuring robust integration and testing capabilities. Your work directly supports product verification through electromechanical test hardware, contributing to mission critical programs. Responsibilities- Establish and monitor project budgets and schedules
- Perform trade studies and analyses to validate solutions
- Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and write the technical volume
- Lead the design process and provide technical leadership within Moog's program scope
- Coordinate and support the assembly of test equipment
- Mentor junior engineers and guide others as appropriate
- Collaborate with internal program teams on test equipment design, system architecture, interface definitions, and requirements validation
- Support the fabrication and integration of test equipment to verify product performance
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- 3 years of leading technical projects or initiatives
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Experience in design, analysis, development and production of complex electromechanical hardware
- Self starting with strong analytical skills
- Experience with component design, development and verification testing
