Overview

In this role you will lead Acushnet's North American Accounts Payable function, directing a distributed team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of invoices and travel expenses while optimizing working capital. You will serve as the AP SME for SAP S/4HANA integrations and partner with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and business leaders to strengthen controls and drive enterprise-wide initiatives. You'll shape cash flow metrics, manage vendor relationships and the corporate travel program, and ensure outstanding service delivery in support of corporate objectives. Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership for North American Accounts Payable and travel functions
  • Oversee a distributed AP team ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, T&E, and vendor management
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and working capital optimization
  • Serve as AP SME for SAP S/4HANA integrations and enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and business leaders
  • Develop key cash flow metrics and strengthen internal controls and audit compliance
  • Lead corporate travel programs and manage vendor relationships
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery supporting financial and operational objectives
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive AP experience in an ERP-driven environment
  • At least 2 years of people leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of AP operations, GAAP, reconciliations, SOX, and internal controls
  • Experience in multinational organizations with cross-functional collaboration
  • Proven ERP and AP automation expertise; SAP experience preferred (NetSuite or similar also considered)
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and process improvement
  • Project management, problem-solving, and process optimization capabilities
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with stakeholder influence in a fast-paced setting
