Overview In this role you lead end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to high-volume manufacturing for Renesas' semiconductor devices. You will apply data-driven analysis to optimize performance, reliability, and yield, and you'll drive qualification and failure investigations across cross-functional teams. You'll work on Edge AI-enabled products and advanced analytics to speed insight and improve product robustness. This position blends technical leadership with strategic problem solving to shape product readiness and business impact.

Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle across multiple programs from concept to high-volume manufacturing
- Define validation, characterization, and qualification strategies aligned with requirements and use cases
- Release multiple IC products into production and sustain performance through ramp
- Apply advanced statistical analysis to characterize electrical performance and yield
- Lead deep-dive investigations of yield excursions and failure mechanisms
- Establish scalable analytics frameworks and dashboards for data-driven decisions
- Define and execute qualification strategies aligned with JEDEC standards and reliability tests
- Lead ESD/latch-up qualification strategy and failure resolution
- Lead complex failure analysis and cross-functional root cause investigations
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and ML to characterization, yield, and reliability workflows
- Mentor engineers in advanced statistical techniques and problem solving
- Influence product release decisions through data-driven insights and technical judgment
- Build networks across global teams to align strategy and readiness
Key requirements- Proven success releasing semiconductor products from concept through qualification to HVM
- Deep expertise in statistical analysis (distribution, correlation, limit optimization)
- Strong background in product characterization and electrical performance evaluation
- Extensive experience in reliability qualification, ESD, and latch-up methodologies
- Experience in failure analysis and root cause investigation across multiple failure modes
- Proven leadership in solving highly complex technical problems using data-driven approaches
