Overview In this Med Lab Scientist 2 role, you will perform and monitor a wide range of lab tests supporting patient care and research. You'll ensure quality control, safety, and instrument uptime while working with a team of laboratory professionals. Your work will involve applying regulatory standards, reporting accurate results, and contributing to lab projects and education. Responsibilities- Perform laboratory tests per procedures and regulations
- Adhere to quality control, QA, safety, and infection control procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot instruments including calibration
- Accurately report test results
- Manage inventory of supplies
- Foster communication with laboratory staff and external customers
- Participate in laboratory projects and educational activities
- Demonstrate and teach laboratory methods and skills to others
Key requirements- Bachelor or 4 years of work experience above minimum qualification
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Must have one certification from ABHI, ASCP, AMT, AAB, or CHS-ABHI/CHT-ABHI/CLS/HEW/MLS/MT/SCT/SCYM/SMB variants
- ASCP-related certifications listed as acceptable
