Overview In this role you drive the advancement of therapeutic programs from early discovery through IND-enabling stages, collaborating across functions to shape project strategies. You lead bench work on cellular assays to define mechanism of action and pharmacodynamic markers, while triaging SAR and targeting candidate profiles. You nominate and validate targets in the molecular glue degrader space and communicate milestones and risks to stakeholders. This position blends rigorous science with cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional teams to push candidates from discovery to clinical development with strategic prioritization and rigorous execution
- Independently develop and run project-specific cellular assays to define MOA, pharmacodynamic readouts, and patient populations
- Design triage strategies to refine target compound profiles based on deep biology understanding
- Generate and drive target nomination/validation activities leveraging molecular glue degrader modality
- Anticipate and adapt to changes in scientific, competitive, or regulatory landscapes
- Communicate scientific advances, strategy shifts, and risk to project stakeholders
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to a culture of scientific rigor and collaboration
Key requirements- PhD with 6+ years, MS with 9+ years, or BS with 11+ years of industry experience
- Track record of advancing preclinical drug discovery programs with robust data packages
- Independently developing robust SAR-enabling assay cascades for drug discovery
- Experience managing a team and coaching employees
- Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams
