Overview In this role, you will help design next-generation robotic material handling systems for Amazon FCs, SCs, and AMZL. You'll work across teams to translate data-driven insights into innovative, high-performance solutions. You'll influence design choices, manage complex projects, and drive impactful improvements in fast-paced environments. This role offers the chance to shape large-scale logistics robotics through hands-on engineering and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities- Hands-on design and improvement of physical processing and material handling systems using robotics, data analytics, and Amazon design principles
- Lead technical design projects with your team and drive architecture decisions
- Develop models and analyze operational/financial metrics to justify design choices
- Coordinate with product management and systems engineering to define next-gen features for fulfillment and logistics operations
- Manage relationships with global leaders, partners, and customers to influence and integrate designs from concept through startup
- Travel up to 10%
Key requirements- 5+ years in design/innovation, R&D, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related experience
- Experience in design/innovation or related work
- Effective communication and influence with decision-makers at all levels
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Problem solving and strategic thinking
- System architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and high-speed manufacturing systems
