Overview

As Senior Director, you will lead financial strategy and planning for the Ambulatory/Virtual channel and Ambulatory Pharmacy. You will align finance with operations across urgent care, virtual care, 340B programs, and pharmacy, driving budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analyses. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders to optimize reimbursement, data analytics, and capital planning in a dynamic ambulatory environment. You'll influence policy and performance, shaping the financially sustainable growth of ambulatory services. This role offers high impact in a matrixed organization and opportunities to lead strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, accurate financial information to support management decisions
  • Ensure accurate financial statements including reserves for bad debt and liabilities
  • Prepare annual operating budgets and long-term plans for ambulatory/virtual channel and ambulatory pharmacy
  • Develop pro forma analyses for new capabilities with limited market data
  • Explain ambulatory pharmacy and 340B financial performance to stakeholders
  • Partner with finance and operations leaders to optimize ambulatory pharmacy/340B impact on system-wide results
  • Lead data analytics initiatives covering dispensing, medication orders, and related data
  • Serve on ambulatory/virtual channel and ambulatory pharmacy leadership teams; lead cross-functional initiatives as needed
  • Oversee billing and collections policies affecting ambulatory channels; develop reimbursement policies with THR CBO
  • Lead forecasting processes and translate initiatives into actionable targets to improve income for Ambulatory Pharmacy and 340BProgram
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or MHA preferred
  • 5 years of increasing financial management responsibility in healthcare
  • 3 years of leadership experience
  • 3 years 340B Drug Pricing Program finance leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, financial analysis, and controls
  • Ability to operate in a matrix structure and lead across multiple channels
  • Strong communication, both written and oral
  • Strategic thinking with financial insight
  • Cross-functional collaboration and relationship building
  • Financial accounting and cost accounting
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Data analytics and data platforms for healthcare
