Overview In this role, you will drive accurate estimates for commercial construction projects, focusing on interior and retail tenant fit-outs. You will collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and the project team to align on scope and timelines, while advancing bids from proposal to contract execution. You'll shape schedules, issue RFIs, and negotiate subcontractor terms, contributing to on-time project delivery in a fast-paced environment. This position emphasizes hands-on estimating, strong organization, and effective communication within a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects
- Review drawings and bid documents to identify requirements
- Develop and maintain construction schedules
- Develop and issue RFIs related to drawings and bid documents
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors on scope, price, and terms
- Interact effectively with clients and subcontractors throughout the process
- Communicate with team and clients to maintain alignment and momentum
- Utilize Procore for estimating and project activities
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project
- Travel as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 10-15 years of experience in commercial construction
- 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
- Experience with interior tenant fit-outs required; retail tenant fit-out preferred
- Some ground-up construction experience
- Proficiency with Procore
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project
- Strong negotiation skills for subcontractor contracts
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to review and issue RFIs quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, independent work style, and strong team collaboration
- Deadline-driven with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
