Overview As a Principal in IQVIA FIC, you lead complex client engagements and drive new business with private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and biopharma clients. You will own client relationships, oversee delivery, and shape strategic insights that create measurable value. The role blends sales and delivery, demanding high-impact proposals, senior-level advisory, and cross-functional leadership. You will contribute to thought leadership and represent the firm at investor events to expand the client network and grow revenue.

Responsibilities- Lead and deliver value-driven strategies addressing complex client issues
- Identify and cultivate new revenue opportunities within PE/VC/Hedge Fund and emerging biopharma communities
- Participate in proposal development and pre-sales meetings with potential clients
- Act as principal owner of engagements with ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction
- Provide post-delivery follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and value realization
- Guide delivery teams with strategic direction and intellectual leadership
- Develop client reports/presentations and present insights to clients
- Stay current on industry trends to anticipate challenges and opportunities
- Promote IQVIA FIC thought leadership through speaking, publications, and conferences
- Attend investor conferences to nurture existing clients and cultivate new ones
- Mentor junior team members as Designated Lead (DL) for performance reviews
- Support office leadership responsibilities in NYC, Boston, or San Francisco
Key requirements- Owner-level client relationship management with financial investors in healthcare/life sciences
- Proven ability to identify and capitalize on new revenue from existing clients
- Strong team leadership and people development skills
- Successful track record in business development and selling complex strategy/operations engagements
- Experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences strategy, due diligence, valuation, and strategy work
- Senior-level solution selling to CEO/COO/CFO with deep knowledge in strategy, due diligence, and transaction advisory
- Global and US PE/VC network with ability to craft international client strategies
- Understanding of financial statements including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Development of internal and external thought leadership initiatives
