VP Financial Controller - FinTech/AI

In this role you partner with company leaders and report to the CEO to manage hands-on finance (30%) and accounting (70%) in a mid-sized company. You will lead month-end close, financial reporting, accounting operations, cash management, and budgeting/forecasting while stewarding a 6-8 person accounting team. The position offers visibility to become CFO and operates on a hybrid schedule with most work centered in finance and leadership activities. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financials and drive strategic impact. • Oversee month-end close and financial reporting
• Manage accounting operations and cash management
• Lead budgeting and forecast processes
• Supervise and develop an accounting team of 6-8

• 10+ years of experience
• Hands-on hybrid accounting and finance experience in a similar sized company (100-200 employees, $50-$150 million in revenue)
• MBA nice to have
• CPA preferred, not required
• Public audit experience preferred, not required
