Overview In this role you will support pre-construction activities across DB, CMAR, EPC, Construction, Self-Perform, and Program Management projects. You will help develop proposals from inception to completion, manage bid packages, and maintain key relationships with subs, suppliers, and design teams. You will build realistic estimates, assess risks, and shape project cost and schedule foundations. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that values safety, collaboration, and data-driven decision making to win bids and set projects up for success.
Responsibilities- Manage assigned bid packages and preconstruction efforts to meet budgets and timelines
- Develop and review cost estimates, scopes of work, and procurement strategies
- Coordinate design-bid-build workflows with design teams and subcontractors
- Create detailed schedules for design, estimating, and purchasing activities
- Assess risks, analyze historical cost data, and document variance reports
- Ensure constructability reviews and value analysis supporting the project team
- Support procurement, prequalification, and subcontractor selection processes
- Maintain estimating database and BIM-enabled estimating support
- Assist in RFP/bid process and development of detailed scope documents
- Assist in transition between preconstruction and project execution teams
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in construction, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years direct program/project management experience (or applicable experience substituted)
- Strong understanding of all construction disciplines
- Excellent communication and supervisory skills
- Must meet company driving requirements
