Overview

As Director of HR, you will lead core HR operations, build a capable HR team, and ensure compliant, high-quality HR services during a period of growth. You will partner with leaders to align people programs with business needs, emphasize practical, scalable HR processes, and maintain a strong service mindset. This role balances strategic oversight with hands-on execution to improve HR operations and employee experience. A key hook is shaping an efficient, trusted HR partner model within a growth-focused organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the HR Business Partnership function and HRBPs across business groups, ensuring a cohesive operating model
  • Set expectations and guide execution of best practices across HRBP roles
  • Advise leaders on organizational design, talent strategy, leadership effectiveness, and culture
  • Collaborate with executives to support cross-functional alignment and execution
  • Oversee day-to-day HR support for specific business groups through HRBPs
  • Ensure consistent performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, and talent processes
  • Clarify roles, escalation paths, and problem-solving for people-related matters between HRBPs and business leaders
  • Partner with Training & Development, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR Operations for scalable frameworks
  • Use workforce data, metrics, and analytics to inform priorities and improve HR impact
  • Leverage data-driven insights and market intelligence to anticipate future needs
  • Continuously refine the HR business partnership model to improve efficiency and employee experience
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 8-10 years of progressive HR experience including senior HRBP leadership roles
  • SHRM certifications preferred
  • Strong operational discipline and execution focus
  • Experience in organizational design and development
  • Proven track record leading HRBPs or HR teams and driving scale or transformation
  • Enterprise mindset and influential leadership in HR practices and systems
  • Executive-level communication and relationship-building with senior leaders
  • Excellent communication with all levels of staff
  • Executive coaching and influence at the senior level
  • Trusted advisor credibility across the business
  • Enterprise HR leadership and strategic judgment
  • Experience in organizational design and development
  • Demonstrated success leading through scale or operating-model redesign
