Overview As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will build and operate automated test solutions for avionics hardware in a safety-critical setting. You'll lead test infrastructure development, diagnose failures, and drive improvements across cross-functional teams. This role is a critical step toward scalable, production-ready testing for unmanned aviation systems. You will work on-site in Mountain View, contributing to the mission of safer, more reliable air transportation.

Responsibilities- Lead the development of automated test equipment systems for functional, environmental qualification, and manufacturing acceptance tests
- Analyze test results to identify failure modes, lead root cause investigations, and drive improvements back into designs
- Author, execute, and audit test plans, procedures, and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful testing campaigns
- Drive continuous improvement to test system infrastructure, processes, and practices
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of full cycle electronics hardware test or development experience in a professional environment
- Experience with programming/scripting languages (C, C++, Python) and ability to develop and maintain test software
- Ability to methodically diagnose, document, and solve electronic hardware problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally across multiple organizations
