Overview In this role, you will lead and advance BIG tax positions for clients, shaping strategies and supporting exam and appeals. You'll drive business development, process improvements, and team-building within a collaborative firm. You help clients maximize BIG benefits while maintaining high quality and risk control. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful tax solutions and market-facing materials that showcase value.

Responsibilities- Conduct research to identify necessary investigations and validate sources
- Prepare studies and memos on tax implications and alternatives
- Develop marketing and sales materials and presentations for opportunities
- Ensure client compliance with authorities and optimize tax reporting burdens
- Identify gray areas and communicate risks to partners
- Support preparation and review of tax provisions and related workpapers
- Develop, recommend, and implement solutions to maximize BIG benefits
- Represent clients before tax authorities and respond to inquiries
- Cultivate understanding of BIG tax issues and explore opportunities beyond BIG
Key requirements- Five (5) or more years of prior experience
- Experience supervising tax consulting professionals
- Experience in accounting, tax, or finance (preferred)
- Prior BIG tax consulting experience (preferred)
- Prior experience preparing and/or reviewing tax provisions (preferred)
- Prior experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- CPA (preferred)
- Enrolled Agent (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Caseware, GoSystems (preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Superior analytical and research skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
